Tomato & olive chicken drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken drumsticks, skin removed
  • 1 onion, coarsely chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 2 red bell peppers, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 75 mL (1/3 cup) tomato paste
  • 30 mL (2 Tbsp) paprika
  • 175 mL (3/4 cup) diced tomatoes
  • 375 mL (1 1/2 cups) CANTON™ Original Broth
  • 250 mL (1 cup) small black olives

Preparation

  • Place drumsticks and vegetables in a crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix together tomato paste, paprika, diced tomatoes and broth; add to crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Add olives 15 minutes before the end of cooking time.
