Thai Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of fragrant white rice
  • 2 cups Sesame-Ginger broth
  • ¼ cup melted butter or olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (170°C).
  • In a colander, rinse rice with cold water.
  • In a small saucepan with oven-proof lid, put the rice and Sesame-Ginger broth.
  • Bring to a boil, cover and bake 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let sit a few minutes on the stovetop.
  • Empty the rice into a bowl, add oil or melted butter and, using a fork, gently mix the rice well.
  • Serve with fish or white meat.
